NATIONAL Freight Corporation company Eastern British Road Services has named three new branch managers.

Taking over as manager of the Newark branch is John Wright, who joined the company in 1964 as a driver. Since then he has been assistant manager at Peterborough and operations manager at Northampton before becoming the manager at Wellingborough in January 1978.

Succeeding Mr Wright at Wellingborough is Charles Bezzina. He joined Eastern BRS in August 1978 as a management trainee and moved to assistant manager at Wellingborough in May last year.
