Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NOW FITTED with a new tandem axle, DAF Trucks F2800 series 6x4 tractive unit is designated FTT2816.

The change in design includes a number of improvements which, it is claimed, will provide a greater level of operational suitability and Torque multiplication by the hub reduction planetary gearing reduces the loading on the crown wheel/pinion and axle shafts.

Six torque rods are used to locate the tandem axles so that only vertical and transverse forces are imposed on the springs.

The stiff springs allow high imposed loads, but under extreme operating conditions oscillation is limited to a maximum travel of 290mm (11.8in) by the bump stop and by four holding cables.

Off-road conditions are catered for by three lockable differentials and improved ground clearance by virtue of smaller crown wheel and banjo housings.
