A FACTORY is to be built for Tele.1-1 hoist,. Ltd., of Cheltenham, in the Blairlinn industrial area of Cumbernauld new town, 11 miles north-east of Glasgow; the new enterprise will be known as Telehoist, Ltd. (Scotland).

The Blairlinn factory will be selfcontained, with facilities for production of steel bodies and hydraulic tipping gear, vehicle fitting, servicing and spares supply. It will accommodate the output of contract tipping vehicles from B.M.C.'s new Bathgate works. • Until the new factory is ready, Telehoist have rented factory space in Cumbernauld.

The Scottish Council (Development and Industry) have stated that a number of Midlands companies are considering setting up branches in Scotland to supply B.M.C. at Bathgate and Rootes at Linwood with accessories and components.
