Creditors ofWedneshury-basecl A Ruby (Transport) are due to discuss its cash-flow crisis within the next week. Andy Turpin, one of the administrators. says: "The company has had some difficulties with regard to a contract it recently entered into. We are optimistic at the moment that we can find a solution to the difficulties they are in."

He adds that the general haulier, which was founded by Tony Ruby in 1980, has a fleet of 19 trucks and employs about 25 people.

One of the main creditors is a vehicle rental company. Turpin says the size of Ruby's debts is still being calculated but no subcontractors appear to be involved.
