• Bristol-based Gulliver's Truck Hire is one of the first operators to buy Leyland Daf's latest CF range; it has chosen an 85CF tractor unit with the 380hp engine. The 30 vehicles make up the largest single order to date for the new model: the first examples should be in service by the end of April. Fleet engineer Brian Prewett says: "We chose the CF for its simplicity, to enable unfamiliar drivers to get on the road with the minimum of training."
