THE FARES battle betwes metropolitan counties anc Government is hotting up, fares-cut proposals from Greater Manchester and Midlands PTEs.

Some bus fares in GT Manchester have been rec by as much as 34 per cent result of a new fares policy i duced by Greater Manch Transport.
