At the same time as the new dealer network was announced, Ford also revealed a "Triple Seal" second-hand commercial vehicle plan to ensure that used vehicles of all makes sold by Ford truck specialist dealers are in first-class mechanical condition.
When such a dealer offers used vehicles for sale under the "Triple Seal" sign, he will have inspected, road tested and reconditioned the vehicle as necessary. Such vehicles will be warranted as in sound, reliable and roadworthy condition, and that they are up to Ministry of Transport standard.
Ford will back up the plan by a series of " snap-check " visits to their dealers and random selection of "Triple Seal " vehicles for manufacturer-testing.
