THE Minister of Transport was urg I in the Commons last week to intr duce legislation to make it obligato for motor manufacturers to fit anti-spla flexible extensions to rear mudguards.
Mr. Fraser recalled that a recent inves gation by the Road Research Laborato had shown that improved mu guards and mudflaps could reduce spr behind commercial vehicles, but that cz presented a more difficult problem. T results of this research were beh brought to the attention of vehicle mar facturers, and he hoped they woe improve their commercial vehicl accordingly,
