Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

GROWTH IN DOMESTIC freight activity is expected to reach a two-year high next quarter.

A third of respondents to the latest Quarterly Transport Activity Survey (QTAS) from the Freight Transport Association said they expect to increase activity levels in the third quarter.

This follows a steady level of growth in the second quarter: one in four respondents said activity levels had increased with only one in eight reporting a fall in business.

Rachel Sheridan-White, FTA economics analyst says: "This is great news... domestic operators continue to pick up business."

But UK international operators expect to see a further loss of market share next quarter due to increasing foreign competition, the strength of sterling and the weakness of UK exports to the EU.
