SI No 1122 The Road Traffic (Training of Drivers of Vehicles Carrying Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) Regulations 1993—cif 30 July 1993—Requires drivers of road tankers and certain tank containers containing radio-active material to have a certificate of driver training (CM 29 April-5 May).
SI No 422 The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Amendment) (No 2) Regulations 1992— cif 1 August 1993—Amended Regulation 36B of the 1986 "Construction and Use Regulations to require retrospective fitment of speed limiters to vehicles first used on/after 1 January 1988 with GVW exceeding 16,000kg and which are either articulated or constructed or adapted to draw a trailer having a GVW exceeding 5,000kg.

Amends the appeal procedures and adds new items to be checked.
Implementation anticipated during August 1993.
Finance Act 1993—Enacts the Chancellor's March budget statement, as subsequently amended. Royal Assent received 27 July 1993.
