Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

2 Nis 4x4 road testers realise that a vehicle has to be put through its paces, testing it to the limit, but even they draw the line at whacking it with a baseball bat as it drives past.

Not so this Essex man, who appeared on last week's Cook Report as part of an alleged gang of car thieves stealing vehicles such as this Mitsubishi Shogun. Unknown to the villains, the Shogun was fitted with Securicor Datatrak so that its every move was logged from the time the thieves took it from a pub car park.

When Roger Cook confronted the man— who was filmed allegedly stealing the car—he produced a baseball bat and engaged the intrepid reporter and his camera crew in a frank exchange of views—mostly of the one-syllable variety.

Mind you, he looks a handy man with a bat: maybe the English Cricket Team selectors should take note?
