The solid-tyred coach was jolting along a road hardly worthy of the name when a passenger leant over to the driver and asked: " Are you sure wo have taken the best road? "
"I'm sure we have not," replied the driver, " but I'm pretty sure that someone else has, and a nice thing he's left in its place."
