Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Although the vehicle we had to drive last week was a chassis-cab version, straight out of the container from Japan, it was enough for us to get a taste of what’s in store from the new product and first impressions are favourable. First up, the access and cab interior are a big improvement over what went before. The adjustment on the driver’s seat accommodated this 6ft tester with ease, likewise the steering wheel, offers a driving set-up that belies the compact proportions of the little Hino.

The lack of weight and body on the back made any assessment of the engine characteristics meaningless, but we were pleased to find the noise levels from the motor were low and that there was an absence of any driveline vibration or cab rattles which normally characterise vehicles in this class.

The slender A-pillars, deep screen and side windows, plus the set back mirror cluster ensures forward visibility is excellent. In combination with a tight steering lock this truck is a doddle to drive in the busy urban environment. There are plenty of cubbyholes and storage compartments for delivery notes, drink bottles and other necessary items, and the clearly laid out dashboard contributes to an uncluttered cab environment giving a feeling of space.
