At least 206 UK road haulage firms are prime targets for a takeover and another 269 could be sold off by their parent companies, according to Plimsoll Publishing. Driver arrested
A Spanish driver has been arrested on suspicion of driving without due care and attention following a collision on the MS. The motorway was closed northbound between J16 and 17, and southbound traffic was restricted to the hard shoulder after the truck jack-knifed.
