Weighbridge specialists, hworth, has introduced a w range of metric weighing

platforms. Called Limpets, the 110 to 225nun high platforms lie on the surface or in a shallow pit and can measure loads up to 10,000kg.

Each weighplate contains four beam load cells. They are linked to a digital weight indicator which can be positioned at any distance from the weighbridge. The unit can be linked to the company's record-keeping tally roll or ticket printers.

The weighplates are modular platforms measuring from 1.5 to 2.5 sqm and can carry from 3.5 to 12 tonnes evenly distributed on a lorry.
