Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Transport and General Workers' Union has lodged a new three-part claim with the Road Haulage Ways Council. It asks for the time-and-aquarter minimum overtime rate to be raised to time and a half, for the subsistence allowance to rise by 4s. (to 22s.) and for night duty money to be paid at one-third the basic hourly wage rate instead of the present fiat 8d. an hour.

No date has yet been fixed for a Wages Council meeting to consider these claims.
