Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

QUPPORT for more two-centre coach holidays in Britain, came from Mr. H. Tuff, general manager of the West Yorkshire Road Car Co. Ltd., after Mr. J. Malcolm Barr had delivered a road transport paper at Britain's first Regional Travel Conference, held at Harrogate on April 8 and 9, under the auspices of the British Travel and Holidays Association.

The delegates from road and rail transport, local authorities, national parks and hotels discussed the travel and holiday industry in Yorkshire, and finally recommended that a Yorkshire Travel Advisory tommittee be set up to assist in coordinating development plans and plans for area publicity, information and reception services.

Early in his address, Mr. Barr praised the rural services built up in the county by United Automobile Services Ltd. and the West Yorkshire Road Car Co. Ltd.

Mr. Tuff supported Mr. Barr's ideas on linkage, in the discussion which followed the paper. He thought there was no reason today why there should not be more two-centre coach holidays in Britain, where an hotel in a city would link up with one, perhaps, "just round the corner ".

Lord Mabane was present at the conference on the instructions of Lord Hailsham, the Minister responsible for industry and unemployment in the North East. Following his report on the proceedings, and because of the value of tourism in making more jobs, even if these were not all-the-year-round, Lord Mabane anticipated that further regional travel conferences would be held for Durham and Northumberland.
