Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

International operator with depots in the UK and Holland B Taylor & Sons is based in Kirby-in-Ashfield, Nottingham, in a yard containing a workshop. The site has been the haulier's main depot for more than 25 years, but as its business has expanded, managing director Alan Taylor and his team has decided to set up another site in nearby Huthwaite. This will become the main operating depot for B Taylor and its offshoot, Taylors Transport International.

The original depot will continue to be used for vehicle maintenance. The company's third site is in Zevenaar, Holland.

Taylors is part of Fortec pallet network and uses curve-front double-deck trailers on the pallet trunicing route, but this only accounts for about 10% of its business.

In the UK, the company operates 25 tractors with 60 trailers, 30 rigids and 15 vans, which carry everything from pallets to hazardous cargo. The operation runs 24/7. The international operation runs from both the UK and the Dutch depot, with trucks running between the two countries every day. Other countries covered by the business are: Ireland, Spain, Belgium, Sweden, Germany and Italy but trucks will also run to other countries when there is business.

The problem, according to general manager Peter Bates, is getting backloads for some of the international journeys.
