Transport has elected ROBERT REID president for 1982-83. He takes office on October 1 and will serve for one year. After retiring from the Royal Air Force, Kenneth Cook joined the National Freight Corporation as a company managing director and is now director of adminis tration of the National Freight Consortium. He has responsibility for such support services as central purchasing, engineering and fleet maintenance, and administration services. From 1975-78 he was stationed in Iran where he set up, and then headed, the National Freight Corporation's business activities in Iran and in the Middle East generally.
