PICKFORDS may double the size of its Aberdeen depot at Altens Industrial Estate later this year to handle growing business in the North East.
The company's Aberdeen branch manager, Alan Gordon, said the company already has the land available and planning permission, and hopes to double the capacity of its warehouse once the project could be funded. At present it has around 137,000sqft of storage capacity.
Pickfords Removals already employs 18 staff in Aberdeen, and the expansion would lead to a further small increase in employment.
