JRpERS recently received by the 1 Leyland Group from Israel and South Africa total more than am. Altogether, • 3,133 goods and passenger chassis are involved, of which 1065 will be supplied to Israel. The remaining contracts, for South Africa, include 100 vehicles for the South African railways.

Plans are also in hand to double vehicle production space at the Leyland Ashdod Motor Corporation, the company's Israeli manufacturing plant.

All Wheel Drive Conversions THE name All Wheel Drive is again to be used for the vehicle-conversion side of the Camberley, Surrey, business which, since it was taken over by a Vickers Ltd. subsidiary, has been known as Vickers-Armstrongs (Onions) Ltd. Vehicle conversion to multi-wheel drive will therefore be done by the All Wheel Drive section of Vickers-Armstrongs (Onions).

Control of the company at present carrying the name All Wheel Drive Ltd., of Camberley, has recently passed to the Clark Equipment Co. of Michigan, U.S.A., but Vickers is retaining the name of the .company and Clark will rename its acquired company (which builds Clark Michigan construction machinery).
