• Working Time Directive – its long-awaited review is expected before May 2013.
• European Register of Road Transport Undertakings – a major initiative to tackle serial offenders goes live in January 2013. Full analysis is expected next month.
• Small series exemption – allows member states to build up to 2,000 trailers and rigids above 4m each year. The current directive allows only 250 to be built. The change is expected to be signed off by the beginning of November.
