Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Cheaper Dacia • Dacia makes Operators' Handbook history with the column's first ever permanent price reduction.

The Dacia Shifter one tonne pick-up has been reduced from £3,500 to 23,295, excluding VAT. Its dropside version is down from 2,600 to £3,495 excluding VAT.

Says managing director of Dacia Concessionaires Peter Dicken: "This price reduction has been made possible by greatly increased manufacturing capacity and the introduction of improved methods of assembly. We believe this will make the Shifter very much more competitive in the marketplace."

Unfortunately, these benefits do not rub off on the Dacia Duster 4x4 prices — they continue as before.
