Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A hijack perhaps? In fact, the picture shows a load of British transport journalists pushstarting their Mercedes coach during a short tour of Calvados, laid on by Brittany Ferries Trucldine, in connection with their new Pompey-Caen' service (see last week's CM).

The problem was a blown fuse; but, as you can see, driver Mike — an ex-Army sergeant instructor — of a Portsmouth tour operator, had the gentlemen of the press well organised, which is more than can be said of his skill at getting the party through HM Customs on return to the UK. The authorities made sure that no one — not even guests of the ferry line — passed through without scrutiny.
