and Super Comet models is now of C.A.V. manufacture and flashing direction indicators are now fitted as standard equipment, the company announces. Fresh air heaters are now standard, instead of optional, on the Badger, Retriever and Octopus and on the Badger the trailer brake operating gear and brake hand valve are also made standard items. On this model an Eaton 18802 axle replaces the 18800 type formerly specified.
Visiting Atkinson Visiting Atkinson ON Monday the South Wales Licensing Authority, Mr. R. R. Jackson, joined prominent hauliers and transport executives from Welsh industrial and motor trade concerns on a visit to the Atkinson works at Preston. The visit was made at the invitation of Atkinson Vehicles Ltd. and of Ross Garages (Sales) Ltd., Atkinson main distributors in Cardiff. Ross chartered a special aircraft for the flight from Cardiff to Blackpool, the 30 guests going on to Preston by coach.
