TRUCK OPERATORS can now set up a single online account to manage their truck parking and washing needs.
Snap is the creation of ETP Card Processing, the company behind Euro Truck Wash and Euro Thick Park. and covers 90 truck parks and 30 truck washes Operators register their vehicles online and the software allows them to determine how frequently their trucks can be washed.
Payment is similar to a solicitor's client account: the operator pays into the account on a weekly basis, which is held in trust and cannot be touched by anyone else. Snap provides a weekly invoice detailing transaction activity and the op erator then tops up the account.
Snap account director Chris Billing says: "It's a world first. It cuts out the need for cash, prevents fiddling by drivers and offers tax liability protection as it prohibits food-inclusive parking deals."
Several major fleets have signed up to Snap. including CM Downton and TSA.
