Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Take a stroll with us through the little sideroacis ot haulage, the diversions and detours, the quirky, the quixotic and the downright strange...

Back when On the Margin was still in short :-; trousers it was always the Germans who were the bad guys in those childhood games. Be it unarmed combat between Action Men and hastily borrowed soft toys; ranks of brave Tommies lining up against one solitary Wehrmacht plastic soldier; or the simple satisfaction of a 14-0 drubbing at Subbuteo after the West German team had been reduced to eight men following an unfortunate incident with a slipper it was always the Germans on the losing side.

It's easy to mock them: the David Hasslehoff fixation; Rudi Voller's mullet haircut; winning all the bloody time at football and being oh so efficient and... German about stuff.

And then, just to prove the Germans do have a sense of humour, there's Toll Collect (which, interestingly, online translation tool Babel Fish translates as "Madly Collect"). Lest we forget this is the company that runs the LKW Maut the German motorway tolling scheme for trucks that has had more stopping and starting than a bus-load of incontinent pensioners.

But Maut Mk II (or is it Mk Ill) is finally ready for the off. To help hauliers navigate the maze of German bureaucracy Toll Collect has produced a natty little audio CD packed full of information to aid the confused... and pop songs from the last few decades. We're not sure quite how these fit into the overall concept of the CDnot least the inclusion of Boys by shortlived 1980s pop sensation Sabrina, or Flashdance by Irene Cara. Are they trying to send subliminal messages through the medium of pop music? Does the ability to hum Stand by me by Ben E King mean your OBU will work better? As you can tell. we're a little confused, if only David were here to help guide us through it www.davidhasselhoffonline.com/ And, while we remember, a big happy birthday to the folks at DTS Log Istics who celebrate 25 years in business this year and very kindly sent us a small piece of cake to celebrate. Presumably the big sell-off to Clipper Logistics is all part of the Silver Anniversary celebrations as well?
