I was interested to read your article on coach costing (CM, August 12). Perhaps you could ensure that National Travel read it as well.
At the start of this season we were offered by National North East rates of 23p per mile loaded and 16p per mile light running. No thanks, National!
Howev5r, they seem to have had takers of the type described in the article, small operators with well-known 10to 12-year-old vehicles.
