With reference to your Guide to Freight Ferries 1 977 (CM, September 2), where you show the Liverpool /Dublin freight services as being operated by P & 0 Ferries.
I would draw your attention to the fact that B+ I Line (British and Irish Steam Packet Co Ltd) operates a lift-on /lift-off freight service between Dublin and Liverpool with five sailings per week in each direction, a ro/ro freight service with two sailings per day in each direction on a year-round basis Dublin/Liverpool, and a daily service, with the exception of Sundays, for ro/ro and trailer freight Dublin/Fleetwood. R. P. QUINN, Publicity manager, B+1 Line.
