• A new portable weighing system has been developed by Central Weighing.
The Alligator is designed to cope with any truck on UK roads, weighing one axle at a time with a capacity of up to 20 tonnes. Central says the system, which weighs 80kg, can easily be manoeuvred by one man using Is integral wheels.
The Alligator is designed for the operator with a number of small or temporary yards. It's able to store information on its computer and give a printout of activity at the end of the day, The Alligator is galvanised, guaranteed for 15 years and costs less than £5,000.
