• Tres.sler Environmental has introduced a cost-saving combined spraygun washing unit and solvent recycler —the Eco-Cleen Extra.
The machine is fully enclosed and fume-extracted and is claimed to recover more than 97% of the solvent from spray paint waste. Spent paint solids recovered during gun cleaning are collected in a disposal bag which can be discarded in the normal way.
Clean recycled solvent is used to top up the spraygun washer cutting solvent costs. Extra savings are generated by the unit's 'spray -out facility.
instead of wasting the guncleaning solvent that is usually lost when the gun is sprayed-out, the operator sprays back into the cleaner so that all fluid is collected for recycling. The unit can be bought outright or leased from Tressler. For further details write No 61 on the reader reply card.
