• A new cab heater from Webasto Thermosystems is claimed to be the most advanced, economical and versatile product of its type ever to hit the market.
The Airtop 2000 incorporates a ceramic Glowpin which is said to last up to 10 times longer than conventional ones and requires just 80W at start-up—less than a third of the consumption of traditional units.
The maker says the Airtop 2000 has the smallest dimensions of any cab heater in its capacity class and boasts very low operating noise levels. The unit costs £445 (supply only) or 1,545 (supply and fit).
