Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

1 wish to train as an hgv driving instructor. I could use the vehicles to train my own drivers to DoE standards. Could you tell me how I go about becoming an hgv. driving instructor?

AThe Road Transport Industry Training Board has a heavy goods vehicles drivers' instructor course at its multi-occupational training and education centre (Motec) at High Ercall, nr Shrewsbury, which you are able to take whether you pay levy or not to the Board, though you will not enjoy the same financial advantage, in taking the course, as someone who pays the RTITB levy.

You should apply to the Board at Capitol House, Empire Way, Wembley, Middlesex, for a place on the course.

If you are successful in completing the course, you will be an RTITB-qualified hgv driving instructor and able to train your own drivers. If you wish to do this for a fee, however, you most apply to the Department of the Environment for approval as a driving instructor offering tuition for reward; the RTITB qualification will be of assistance to you in obtainingthis.
