Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

National Travel's express services executive, Derek Fytche, told me that if the experiment proved successful it could be the beginning of a national network, based initially on NBC travel offices around the country but also possibly extended into private agents' offices on a shared basis. It not only has the great advantage of producing a printed ticket quickly and accurately but the computer simultaneously checks that a vacancy exists and automatically registers the booking.

At present it is being used for the booking of a handful of excursions and tours originating in London, but — especially for travel offices in the provinces — it has the advantage that a single terminal can be used to book travel seats or theatre seats.

Pity about the Amazon; I guess I'll have to settle for the 30,000th performance of The Mousetrap.
