Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ABBEY ROAD TANKS has submitted an application for an increased 0-licence authorisation at its existing operating centre in Bootle_ Merseyside. to 27 vehicles and 38 trailers. The firm has also applied to remove an operating centre at lsotank Transport Services in Trafford Park, Manchester from its 0-licence.

In a reshuffle of its fleet in the South East, caused by the closure of the Syral (formerly Tate & Lyle) site in Greenwich. London, Abbey will remove that facility from its licence and raise the number of trucks and trailers at its Pura Foods operating centre in Erith. Kent to 17 and 18 respectively.

Earlier this month, the liquid foodstuffs specialist bought Knowsley-based pallet haulier TP Farrell Transport for an undisclosed sum, which involved taking on 10 trucks and 12 members of staff.

Around 95% of Abbey's annual turnover comes from bulk food liquid transportation and 5% from palletised transport.

The acquisition is expected to add Lim to the firm's turnover and bolster its pallet operation.

MD Steve Granite says: "The chance to offer our clients a palletised transport service in addition to bulk liquid transport is intended to add value to existing relationships and also establish new relationships with clients who do not operate in the bulk liquids market."
