NORTHERN IRELAND Office Regional Development Minister John Spellar officially opens the £18m Toome bypass, from the 99m Toome Bridge in County Antrim. The new 3.5km dual carriageway and bridge will help motorists bypass the village of Toome, and reduce journey times from Belfast to Londonderry.
Spellar met with Freight Transport Association chief executive Richard Turner this week to discuss freight issues in the province.
