Tax disc convictions • North Eastern 436 Traffic Commissioner Keith Waterworth may take away Roy Richardson's 0-Licence, on good repute and finance grounds, for major tax disc convictions.

Last December Richardson, of York Road, Leeds, was ordered to pay fines, costs and back duty totalling £19,431.50 after being convicted of handling a stolen excise licence, fraudulently using an excise licence and also using vehicles without an excise licence.

Richardson failed to turn up to the Leeds disciplinary inquiry. He has been given 21 days to make representations or request a further public inquiry, before his licence is taken away.

Driver who handled stolen disc failed to show at hearing.
