• A man who took over his dead 6 employer's business without realising he needed a new Operator's Licence, has been ordered to pay fines and back duty of £811.16 by Manchester City magistrates.
Colin Greenwood of Gatley, Cheshire, pleaded guilty to the fraudulent use of a vehicle excise licence, and using a vehicle without an excise licence, insurance test certificate or 0-licence. He also tampered with a tax disc which was issued to a private light goods vehicle.
He said he did not realise he needed an 0-licence.
