Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE STRIKE at Motor Panels of Coventry is now entering its third week and is beginning to have an effect on some vehicle manufacturers.

Motor Panels supply cabs and cab components to a number of leading truck builders.

ERF at Sandbach is the first to be badly affected and in fact ceased production of vehicles on Monday of this week and laid off 400 workers.

Last week it was able to keep its work force occupied building chassis for stock, but It is now unable to store any more.

The ERF situation is unfortunate as it comes after two months of record sales.

In addition, the tools which produce the framework for the B-Series cab are owned by ERF itself although Motor Panels produce the cab frame.
