The haulier believes he became a victim of the company CM has been warning readers about almost five years ago, when he gave £500 to a John Smith in Falkirk as a deposit for a loan to buy a truck.
He says he never saw the £500 again after John Smith told him he could acquire the necessary finance from "Arabs or the North Sea oil rigs".
