Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Government, the police and the public crack the whip at the heels of these pathetic animals (hauliers) and put them through the hoops for any and every ridiculous law and regulation they can think of, while charging them the earth to do it.

In my mind there is only one way drivers, owner-drivers and haulage contractors will ever get anything like the rates they deserve. And that is for every man and woman in this country involved in with the movement of HGVs to refuse to continue doing so until the Government, unscrupulous employers and the couldn'tcare-less public realise that without them they are in dire trouble.

Ironically, I wonder what is the use complaining in truck magazines, as the public don't read them!

Nobody will admit it, but if it wasn't for the haulage industry no one would have anything. Yet there are HGV drivers working for as little as £4 and hour, which is scandalous considering all the responsibility and training they have.

The police are constantly on your back, harassing you, charging you and taking you to court for breaking laws which must have been thought up by schoolchildren. And who is paying for all the costs and waste of everyone's time? The public—but they don't seem concerned by that Name & address supplied.
