• Weekly average production of UK commercial vehicles during the five weeks of last March was, according to SMMT records, as follows: British Leyland 3508; Chrysler UK, 607; Ford, nil; Bedford, 2602; other, 221. The total average weekly output amounted to 6938 units and the total recorded production was 34,688 units.
