Matthew, Nor man and Simon James was adjourned by South Wales Licensing Authority John Mervyn Pugh after he was told that there was a bankruptcy order against the original licence holder, Robert James.
The LA had been considering taking disciplinary action against the licence held by Robert James, who had been operating from Gilbert Gardens, Gilbert Lane, Barry, although his declared operating centre was at Barry Dock. James had also been fined £300 for contempt of court after flouting an injunction against tipping on land in Gilbert Lane.
Mervyn Pugh was also considering an application from the three for a new licence authorising eight vehicles and two trailers from Gilbert Gardens.
That application had attracted objections from South Glamorgan County Council and Vale of Glamorgan Borough Council, as well as various environmental representations.
Adjourning the proceedings, the LA said that the case had been postponed on a number of occasions and he felt that it had reached a stage where it needed a fresh mind.
He directed that the case be heard by one of the Deputy LAs.
