Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

About 7% of Cargos have Cummins engines. Iveco Ford has been offering remanufacturing with a year's guarantee on its own engines — which are fitted to 90% of Cargos — since the truck was launched in 1984. The other 3% have Perkins or Deutz engines.

The Cummins diesels will be reconditioned at Cummins' own factory. Remanufacturing a 127kW (170hp) 6BTA will cost up to £3,100; a 157kW (211hp) 6CT, £4,600; a 186kW (249hp) L10, £.5,800; and a 211kW (283hp) L10, £6,050.

Components also included in the scheme include short engines, cylinder heads and blocks, crankshafts, conrods, fuel injection pumps, turbochargers, compressors, starter motors and oil and water pumps.

Full details are available from Iveco Ford dealers.
