New faces are always welcome in the CM Lorry Driver of the Year Competition and I was intrigued when reading through some of the recent reports from the centres to see that CBS —the record people—had made their debut in the contest by entering six drivers in the London eliminator last month.
Running Transits, the six drivers normally spend their time on a musical ride — that is, -rushing your favourite record: to the paint of demand. For a first-time entry they didn't do at all badly in the competition, with the best-placed pair 5th and 9th, out of 22 in the class..
