BERWICK-1:PON-TyME.D.--The local authority has provided parking grounds on the north and south sides of the River Tweed. That on the north side is on part of the parade ground adjoining the barracks, .commonly known as `-The Parade," while that on the south side is a piece of waste ground at the Wog, End; Tweedmouth. No tolls are charged at either site.
' 'motor coaches visiting this town are required to set down and pick up their passengers on the south side of the Marine Parade, opposite Steyne Gardens. After discharging. passengers, and pending the return journey, coaches most be garaged. The locations of suitable garages are shown on our map. The police authorities have arranged for 30 coaches to be garaged at the Southdown Bus Co.'s premises and for 10 vehicles to be housed at the "Grand Garage, South Street, the charges at each place peing 2s, per vehicle per half-day, or 3s. 6d. per day.
