Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Sometimes dealers have to take a risk, and that's what MercedesBenz dealership Sparshatts of Kent did before Christmas. says salesman Kevin Haynes.

With outlets in Sittingbourne, Dartford and Ashford. it decided to equip no less than 34 Euro-3 Axor eight-wheelers as tippers or hook-loaders and offer them as ready-to-work packages — and the gamble paid off.

"We've sold virtually all of them," says Haynes. "All we've got left is one of the hook-loaders and two of the tippers."

The 360 and 400hp Axors were fitted with Thompson Loadmaster bodies for muckaway work or Chariton Super-Lite bodies, he adds; all of them have 16-speed gearboxes.

The initiative was in part inspired by Hino's ability to deliver ready-bodied eight-wheelers in little more than a fortnight. "These days customers don't want to wait," Haynes remarks.
