taken the opportunity to re-align its medium-duty line-up. The 4x2 rigid FL now covers the 12-18-tonne GVW sector; the 4x2 and 6x4 FE is available at 18 and 26 tonnes GVW.
Both the FE and FL are powered by a new 7.2-litre, six-cylinder engine
developed by Deutz. In the FE this Volvo D7E motor is available at 240 or 280hp, while the FL comes in at 240, 280 or 320hp with 920, 1050 and 1,200Nm of torque respectively. For transmission there's a choice between a ZF six or nine-speed manual and an Allison auto.
