ARANGE of modern-design commercial vehicle exterior mirrors is now being produced by Burrafirrn Ltd., Vincent Works, Croxstall Road, . Bloxwich, Staffs, Mirrors with head sizes of from 6 in. deep by 5 in. wide (single arm) up to 15-5 in. deep by 7.75 in. wide (double arm) are made, all being rectangular with curved edges except for one model which is wedge shaped with curved edges and measures 7.5 in. wide (maximum) by 5.5 in. deep.

On all the mirrors the glasses are secured and sealed to their steel backings in two ways. First by adhesive P.V.C. tape and then by a moulded rubber bezel. The glasses are of 18 oz. quality heavily coppered and silvered and then sprayed with backing paint. Spare heads, glasses and bezels are obtainable and as an example of cost the No. 4592 head, which measures 7.375 in. by 5-375 in., is priced at 10s. retail. Various types of arm and bracket are supplied and a number of types of antivibration mountings have also been developed by the concern.
