nURING the past year, The Exhaust

Ejector Co. Ltd., 11 Wade House Road, Shelf, Nr. Halifax, has been producing kits of sound-insulating material for motorcars; the product being known as Quiet Luxury Motoring. In response to many requests by transport operators, the concern is now offering a service for transport undertakings.

It is not possible to make standard kits for commercial vehicles, but customers requiring insulation for their vehicles can make templates of the shape needed and the insulating material will be supplied cut to size. The insulating felt costs LI Us. 6d. retail a yard (60 in. wide black coated and 51 in. wide P.V.C. coated) and there is a small charge for cutting. Special kits are available for car-based vans such as the B.M.C. 5-cwt., Triumph Courier and Thames 5and 7-cwt.
